Worlds Greatest Shave
Worlds Greatest Shave – Thousands of NSW residents will bravely shave or colour their hair this week to help the Leukaemia Foundation raise much-needed funds for the 40,000 Australians living with leukaemia, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders, by taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave.
Community leaders, families, health professionals, school children, bosses and staff are shaving their heads or colouring their hair in the hopes of raising $13 million nationally.
Events are taking place in variety of locations across the region and you can still be part of the event by going to www.worldsgreatestshave.com/events/ for details.
Around the nation the event starts on Thursday and runs until Saturday, March 13.
Funds raised will assist the foundation in providing much-needed support to the 25 Australians diagnosed every day with leukaemia, lymphomas and myeloma.
