Police started evacuating people after they were aware of a suspicious man having a gun inside the library around 4:30pm, According to Joe Brennan, UB communication spokesman.
All people are asked the leave the building and currently UB police is searching for the man with the help of Amherst police.
So far there is no lockdown on the UB, said Brennan. The latest, police has cleared the building and still no person was found with gun. Evening classes are canceled.
