Open Question: I can’t play Warcraft 3 freezes at launching screen help?

Hi,
I downloaded warcraft 3 and updated the patch and also put the no cd patch…i did everything rite….it doesn’t work on my laptop.
it works on my desktop….idk why

Laptop specs:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.70GHz
1.65 GHz, 496 MB of RAM
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Service pack 2 (going to change to service pack 3…hope it will work).

I even installed direct x 10

Please tell me if i have to download anymore file
or how to solve this problem….
Please i really want to play it on my laptop…cuz i will be going out of town…..
someone help
