While there are other health reasons why people gain weight and cannot reduce their waist size, the most universal problem people have with gaining weight is simple, obvious and way too often overlooked – they are eating too much food. While eating food and of course drinking water is the “elixir” of good health and weight loss’ reduction of waist size, it is the quantity of food consumption that is at the heart of an individuals weight problem. Eating too much food, relates to nutrition being at the heart of our overall weight problem.

One way of accomplishing weight loss is by reducing the calories one consumes. Thus fewer calories would reduce waist size, and more calories should increase waist size.
