Open Question: howto keep corn snake uth from getting too hot??

i have a corn snake with a uth my thermometer says my uth is 92 degrees and im using a rheostat on low!!!!!

how can i keep my snake from cooking? how to cool down my uth?

or is it safe for my snake at that temp?

Open Question: What Exactly is Lead Paper? Please help!?

I was preparing the tank of a fish I’m taking care of when its thermometer slipped out of my hand and broke. The package says it contains alcohol and steel shot, so it’s not dangerous, but it also says that there is “lead paper”. I’m really unsure what to make of this. What exactly is it? Is it safe to just dispose of it in the bin inside? Are there special measures to deal with that? Please, any insight will be greatly appreciated.
