I used sand as a substrate in my 72 gallon bow front aquarium and it caused the water to be just a tad on the cloudy side after sitting for a day, so I was advised to use a water clarifier. I bought Jungle Labs Clear Water and added 7 tsps, as per stated by the direction for my tank size (1 tsp per 10 gallons). The directions stated the water would clear within a few hours. Well, when I woke up this morning (11 hours after adding the Clear Water) my water is still purple. Granted- the water isn’t opaque purple as it was last night but it is still very purple.
My question is has anyone used this specific product, does it work for cloudiness, and will the purple tint in my water dissipate over time?
