Hi,
I finished school in November but have not had success finding a job after that. As a result I have no money to pay for university so I’m delaying that till 2011 until I build up a small fortune. I’m moving to Australia (from New Zealand) to live with my sisters. At the moment I effectively have no money and will need to find a job quicksmart over there, much to my dismay since I would like to settle in and explore first, because I owe my father about $460 US and he needs that whenever I can get it. I also require money to pay for a cellphone over there, plus other essentials.
The minimum wage per hour in Australia is $13.30 US, approximately. I arrive in Australia on the 29th but won’t start looking for work until at least a week later when I move in. Preferably I will work nightfill at a supermarket as I wouldn’t handle being in the face of customers in normal retail. I’m guessing this pays the minimum wage per hour.
I’m not sure how much per week I will work. The debt to my father must be paid in no more than 5 weeks I would imagine. If I work 2 hours daily all week it will only take three weeks for the money to pay him back to accumulate. However I have no idea on the availability of nightfill positions and how many hours are worked in them, I guess it would be quite small. Can anybody fill me in?
I am also interested in building up an ‘empire’ of sorts with a few online blogs and using GetPaidTo sites to draw in about $10-20 a week. But it seems a lot of work and patience and I don’t have much motivation for these kinds of things. What other things can I do to supplement a supermarket position and what other types of jobs could work for me?

I’m 15, almost a year older than the legal age for getting a job here, and I don’t really know what to put in a resume.
I just graduated from year 10, its the holidays, and I don’t have much to do so I’m going to try and get a job at a supermarket. I haven’t had a job before and I’m only getting one so I can earn a bit of money.
I don’t really have anything to write about myself except that I like playing guitar and I’ve finished year 10
What do I do?
