Open Question: My dog keeps tearing down my blinds! Please help?

Okay I have done quite a bit of research and have determined my dog has a bit of separation anxiety. He is an awesome dog, I have trained him 95 % but he has an issue with the blinds and hates other dogs as well. I have had him for almost two years and at my last house I just boarded up the window b/c he kept seeing things outside or something and would tear down the blinds. He doesn’t chew on anything else, he doesn’t use the bathroom in the house and is otherwise great when I leave him for most of the day. I, like a lot of other people, don’t really want to put him in a crate b/c he is a big dog GS/Husky mix and It is just us two,so I am gone for eight hours a day during the week. He gets plenty of exercise. I take him on a few mile runs with me in the morning and I have a fenced in tennis court that I take him in every night and throw toys and such. I don’t want to have to board up all my windows in my new apartment because it looks pretty trashy. I am considering the bitter apple spray, or just buying the pull down shades. He is usually pretty good if I remember to put up the blinds when I leave, but I have lived there for a little less than a month and 3 of the 5 blinds are completely wrecked so I have to get something soon and I need some suggestions. I just don’t want to go out and buy expensive wooden blinds or other shades and have them tore down again. I need help please?

Open Question: My dog growls and barks at nothing?

My dog tends to bark mostly late at night at the stairs and growls a lot.. I don’t understand why he does it, sometimes he jumps back and runs up a little kinda like hes trying to intimidate something or scare it off.. We have had history of odd things happening in our house like noise in the basement, the feeling of being watched and stuff like that only during late hours like 12am+

Could my dog be seeing things that i don’t or maybe i’m just misinterpreting things

Open Question: HELP!! i think my fish are dying!?

I have a black moor and a common gold fish, i brought them home like three weeks ago and got them set up in there new home and they have been fine since.

but i just went to change the water and now they’re in shock (i think) i made sure the temp. was the same and everything and they where fine for a good ten mins.

but soon they where laying on the bottom struggling to breath, so i took them out and put them back in the old water and there not doing so good…

can fish survive shock??

the goldfish is floating on its side and looks dead but his mouth is moving and the moor is looks like hes struggling to push water through his gills…

i feel AWFUL ! i hate seeing things suffer especially because of something i did :’(

is there anything i can do??
