Qantas to Resume Flights – Civil Aviation Safety Authority spokesman Peter Gibson said the agency had given Qantas the OK to resume flying. The safety authority’s decision means the “Flying Kangaroo,” as the Australian flag carrier is known, can restart flights by Monday afternoon, as Qantas CEO Alan Joyce had predicted earlier in the day.
