Burma Elections Cannot Be Fair – Australia’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Stephen Smith, says elections in Burma cannot be considered free or fair if the opposition party is not involved. The National League for Democracy (NLD) says it will not take part in Burma’s first poll in two decades, citing unjust electoral laws.
