I recently bought a car and then a garnishment started on my paycheck. I am now unable to pay any bills other than car payment and insurance. I’m listed as the secondary buyer on the vehicle and without it I would be unable to keep my job. If I file for chapter 7 would I still be able to keep my car or should I just try to file without listing the car. I have never been late on a payment nor do I plan to ever.

I quit a job exactly a week ago Monday. How long do they traditionally wait before mailing out my check?
I kind of just called and told them I wouldn’t be coming in anymore (a low move I know). I’m kind of ashamed to go in there and ask for my check, but at the same time I need the money. Perhaps if it doesn’t arrive in the mail tomorrow I’ll bite the bullet and call and ask if they have it, get it that way.

Where do i start and what questions do i need to ask myself and others…have to relocate?
Here are the pros and cons of the job…..what other questions should i ask myself or others? opinions… really think i’d be stupid not to accept this job no matter the location cause A) really need one have been unemployed too long and B) its a really really good job and pay and benifits!! whats your opinion? (the position is avaliable in many different cities) it is a state over from where i grew up
Pros
A) a secure and decent enough paycheck where i could afford to live comfortably on my own..and even get a better vehicle or fix the one have.. after 2, 8, ect months your pay goes up
B) Health care is part of the deal..(dental is for a small fee each month as an extra but hey! who doesnt need it!!)
C) Provides meals free while on duty and provides uniform expenses
D) If go to an undermanned part will get 1500 sign on bonus
E) paid training ..that includes place to stay during training
Cons
A) If go to an undermanned place will have to sign a year contract
B) have never moved over 60 miles.. i wouldn’t know anyone and would be over 200-300 miles from known areas relatives and friends,
C) am 18 soon to be 19…I’ve heard you have to be 21 to rent at most apartment places and not fond of the thought of renting

I work a full time job, and also have my own little side business, last year I earned around $3,000 with it, as I really didn’t do a whole lot with it. I am exempt from state tax, due to it being a service. But, how do I file federal taxes, and can this be done along with my regular job tax return that I file?
Another detail, is that I really had no expenses for this, other than gas, but with the earnings so low, I would probably not even claim it. All of the income was spent by myself, as another ‘paycheck’ basically.
