Times Square Car Bomb Threat – A mounted patrol policeman looked inside the smoldering Nissan Pathfinder around 6:30pm (New York time) in front of an entrance to a theatre that houses the hugely popular musical The Lion King. He called in the bomb squad as the streets were cleared of people.

Crazy Times Square Shooting – A wild shooting near Manhattan’s Times Square yesterday morning (local time) left four people injured and dozens under arrest. Police said three of the shooting victims were young women.
