Open Question: Where is my item now?

Published on January 12, 2010 by Technology Slice

I have purchased an item from USA ebay in mid Dec’09. The seller used USPS Priority Mail International for my item. I was given a tracking number and the last information on USPS tracking website, states the item left ISC LOS ANGELES CA (USPS) on 23 Dec 09.
It’s now coming to the third week and I have now received my item. I have also checked with my local postal service in Singapore but they were not able to trace the item in their place.
I have checked with my ebay seller again and according to them the item is in transit as per USPS tracking system.
I am wondering is the item being shipped by surface mail (by ship)? If it was by air, does it take that loooooong to arrive to Singapore? Is my item floating in mid air???
