Open Question: How do I get Windows Live Messenger (MSN) back on my computer?

I had it on my computer, and everything was working fine, until the latest update message came up saying I have to get the latest version in order to sign in. So I try to download it, which takes ages, then when the green bar is fully loaded it says “error” as in it can’t do it and fails to install.

I got rid of the current WLM from control panel programs but downloading from scratch since has still left me with the same problem. Help!
Also, i’ve tried external sites like MSN.be and they don’t work either

Open Question: Is my gf talking to her ex on MSN messenger?

On her MSN it announced “Jane joined John’s network”

Does this mean they’re talking on MSN now? She told me she’s never talking to her ex again after he cheated on her.
