IVF Costs Soar – An analysis of government figures shows use of assisted reproduction technology plummeted immediately after the introduction of new Medicare rules in January. Specialists say these have doubled patients’ out-of-pocket contributions to an average $2000 for one IVF cycle, putting the treatment beyond the means of many.

I will claim myself this year and was wondering how much ill get back? i made 40886.81 last year and paid a total of 3987.46 to the feds 2496.28 to SS and 583.81 to medicare. I had a 401k contribution of 817.75 and other pretax deductions of $613 for dental/aflac/vision insurance. How much will i get back this year?
