Open Question: how do I fix this line of matlab code?

I get the error message as follows

Error in ==> nonlinear_morgan_new_try_pub at 27
Fe=-.5*V^2*(Ka-Kw)/((1/(Ka*(x-z)-Kw*x)-.67)^2*(Ka*(x-z)-Kw*x)^2);

the variables are all defined above that line. I defined them as V=30; and did the others similarly
