Tsunami Warning After Indonesian Earthquake – INDONESIA has been shaken by a 7.4 magnitude earthquake, with a local tsunami warning issued in its wake. The US Geological Survey recorded the quake at 12:59pm local time, with the epicentre 214km southeast of Banda Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia and 61.4km deep.

A powerful earthquake rocked Indonesia’s densely populated island of Java yesterday, causing homes and buildings to collapse and prompting fears of significant casualties.
