So I’m trying to connect my Xbox up to live, but it won’t connect. The test says it’s between the xbox and the network. I’ve tried bridging the connection from the xbox to the router on my pc, pluging it straight into the router, and using the dsl, but it’s the same every time. And when I hit the button to bridge the connections on my pc, this pop up keeps coming up saying “To create a network bridge, you must select at least two LAN or High- Speed Internet connections that are not being used by Internet Connection Sharing,” even though both connections are selected. Is it possible I’m doing something wrong or is there something wrong with the xbox? I know it isn’t the computer because I’ve tried it on 3 different computers.

My dad makes me turn off my desktop and unplug it because our house is old and he says it can start a fire.
It’s been making my computer slower and it’s just plain annoying to have to wait for it to start up.
Plus he won’t let me get high speed internet because they have to drill a hole in the wall.
Of course, it’s okay for him to leave the TV on 24 hours a day while he sleeps or goes to the store.
