Open Question: help with horse float?

Hi Guys,

My problem is as follows.. one of my good friends and i just went halves in a brand spanking new horse float (very exciting!) we went halves coz we go to the same place and the idea is over the next few months i am going to buy out her share and totally own the float. We are picking it up this week, and coincidently, my friend just bought a horse a street away from where we are collecting the float. The idea was that my very experienced float driver mechanic friend was going to collect the float, and horse and drive both home for us.. however my friend has now said she wants her family present when she picks up the horse, so has said shell instead get the float a few days later and her parents will hitch it to their car which pulls the familys boat and go collect the horse and bring it back.. they journey will take 2.5hours there and 2.5 hours back, they have never towed a float or put a horse into a float ever… but my friend reassures me it will be fine as her dad drives the family boat and knows how to tow….im also concerned because the car in questions dosnt tow much, and isnt kitted for a horse float… im so worried something is going to happen, but shes determined to do it and wont consider my option of having the experienced driver collect both the float and horse and drive them back safley for us…

she is paying for half the float, and i feel bad saying no to her…. help?? am i over reacting???

Advice would be appreciated!!!
