Open Question: Snow, static, and green and purple on my new tv?

I recently bought a new Dynex 19 in for my dorm room. I hooked up cable and everything was fine. Then later I hooked up my xbox360 and that’s when the snow, black and white lines, along with green and purple colors on the screen started showing up. I tried unplugging everything. Sometimes the screen will be ok but then it will
go back to having the same problems. any advice?? Should I return the TV or try to get someone to fix it?
