Published on October 12, 2010 by Technology Slice

Apple has done it again. More tales of woe for the iphone 4. Dubbed ‘glassgate’ by the masses, another flaw of the iphone 4 has been uncovered. Apparently tiny bits of dust and particles can get in between the two glass panels on the back of the iphone and cause small cracks that turn to [...]

Open Question: Will a Skunk spray me in the situation described below?

Published on January 10, 2010 by Technology Slice

We have one or more Skunks living under our house. To capture them, Animal Control has provided us a no-kill skunk trap. I just found out that while the trap is a no-kill, Animal Control does euthanize the little critters.

We have to get rid of the skunk(s) as we get a slight, lingering smell through our house, but we have no interest to kill these guys. Animal Control stated that once in the trap, they do not spray and they only have a few cracks in the trap they can see out. How Animal Control takes them away from this point, well, I have no idea.

So my question – for anyone familiar with skunks – do you think if I cover the cage with a dark cloth, lift the trap into a large box that I next secure to my SUV’s roof – and release them near another forest away from many homes that they will spray as I move them around from my house to my SUV?

I know Rabies is an issue and I know some people will say just to kill them, but I am just looking for knowledgeable information about moving them around! THANKS!!

Open Question: I lost my phone, it’s turned off so i can’t call, can i use a device online to know where it is?

Published on January 7, 2010 by Technology Slice

My phone is KF350 LG icecream phone. I live in China and i would like to know a device online or some way to locate it or find it. Yesterday, I went out by myself, and my dad was supposed to pick me up at someplace. I was holding my phone in my hands the whole time. In the end, my dad called me when he arrived. I picked up and directly went in the car while talking to him (for fun). We went home and i didn’t remember where my phone was when i came in my room. I looked on the car everywhere with my dad, even the smallest cracks on the seats or under the seats. We couldn’t find it on the car, so it has to be at home. I was calling it the whole time this morning, but it didn’t work because my phone is always on silent(it was opened then). Now i am still trying to find it, but just now i called but it was turned off. I also went over all the clothes i wore that day and places in my house where it could be. I know that no one stole it or anything because it was turned on the whole day and night until now because it was out of batteries already, the battery should be dead by now. :S
My phone was pretty expensive and also had lots of information and pictures i need, that’s why i really want it back :(
thankyou for helping guys!! <3
