If I was buying a house in Quebec City, Canada that costs $895,000 and A Municipal tax of $4,848 what would be the:
Down payment- and how do you find this?
Heating Tax?
Property Tax?
Mortgage?
Amortization Period?
Interest Rate?
Any answers to these questions would be great. I’m just so confused about all of this

I am buying a house, and have oil heat/hot water. I was wondering if anyone knows of oil wholesalers that do business with individuals? If not, where is the least expensive oil company you know of in CT? Thanks in advance!

(we normally do our taxes as soon as we get the forms, so this is actually before April…)
So we close on our first house Aug 15 and we got married May 3. What does this mean for us when it comes time to do our taxes? I am not sure of the benefits of filing joint vs separate, and I am not sure what it means for us with the house. I always hear about tax breaks for buying a home… but does that still count when we own it less than half the year? And, we have always taken the standard deduction… should we do itemized now? I am just pretty ignorant of tax stuff in general. I normally just use the do it yourself tax software…

Dear Friends,
I am planning to take loan (say 35Lakhs) for buying a house. The builder taking 35% of loan amount during booking. and he is taking every 10% at each satges of construction works. Suppose if the house construction take 3years to complete what would be the EMI since the loan amont paid 3year span. Is there is any reduction in the interest part.
If we take loan now and house construction finishes after 3years; from when i have to pay for the EMI
Thanks
