Open Question: How to import image onto -shirt,mug,pens etc etc?

Hi there,
Im want to build a website where people can order personalized products.\
Basically,customers will import an image of their choice onto one of my products(like a coffee mug or pen)
I just need to know how to build/where to buy this application.
