Google Australia In Hiring Spree – Google is looking to boost headcount in Sydney by around 15 per cent which would tip its local workforce to just over 400 people. The internet giant employs approximately 350 people in Australia and has 51 job openings for positions.

Over 300,000 Apple iPads Sold On First Day – Apple says it sold more than 300,000 iPads on the first day of sales in the US on Saturday. Apple said the sales figures included pre-ordered shipments of the device and purchases at Apple retail stores.
