Student Wins $290k Compensation For Bullying

Student Wins $290k Compensation For Bullying – A victorian student has won a law suit for bullying, and has been awarded $290k for pain and suffering. This ruling sets a dangerous precedence for all students now. Kids are immature by nature and I’m sure bullying happens at all schools and to all students at some point in their education.

Can you imagine every bullied student starting to sue schools and other students? It would be chaos. Dealing with bullying should be the responsibility of both teachers and parents. And there are better ways to deal with bullying than going to court.

More often than not, children that bully other students have deep seeded issues themselves and the bullying is a cry for help. These bullies also need help and support. Punishing them in the court of law is no answer.
