Stabbed Schoolboys Funeral
Stabbed Schoolboys Funeral – Teachers, past and present students, and their families, have gathered at the funeral for 12-year-old Elliott Fletcher, who was stabbed at St Patrick’s College on Brisbane’s bayside on Monday.
Elliott died in hospital a short time later.
The school is calling the service “a celebration of life”.
Brisbane Archbishop John Bathersby is leading the funeral mass in the college hall.
Premier Anna Bligh is also attending the service.
Classes have been cancelled today so students can attend a funeral mass on the school grounds.
Pupils have been arriving in uniform this morning, many carrying bunches of flowers.
They will form a guard of honour during the service.
A 13-year old fellow student has been charged with murder.
