Pacific Tsunami Warning Center – On Saturday a devastating earthquake hit the coast of Chile and after that the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii issued a tsunami caution for areas across the region. Experts have asked to take appropriate action to respond to this threat. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center experts said sea level is confirming that a tsunami has been generated. This tsunami could cause widespread damage. It’s also said that the first waves would arrive at 11:19 a.m. Saturday (4:19 p.m. EST) on Saturday and the first waves after a quake are not necessarily the largest. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said that it’s difficult to predict the tsunami wave heights because they can vary but it would a big one. A potential tsunami threat has been issued from the joint Australian tsunami warning center. This threat is for Lord Howe Island and Norfolk Island, New South Wales state and for Queensland State.
