At the Sears store in Richmond Heights, three customers were waiting for the doors to open at 6 a.m.

Before you can buy your appliance, you will need to access the Ohio Appliance rebate Web site. Callers to the toll-free line (888-686-8896) are being told by a recording that using the site is the fastest and easiest way to get rebates.

However, if you do not have access to the Internet, call the toll-free number, then wait for the prompt for frequently asked questions and listen until the end. Then, you will be offered a choice to talk to a live operator.operator.
