Obama Fishing Ban – Rumours have surfaced that president Barack Obama will ban fishing in all U.S. waters for private citizens. Fishing is a part of the American way of life and the possible fishing ban has cast yet another negative light on the Obama administration.
Banning fishing for private citizens is absolute rubbish. Not only does it infringe on the rights of private citizens, but will also have a negative social impact. Many fathers take their sons fishing as a form of bonding. Retired citizens choose fishing to fill the time after retirement.
Would president Obama rather people spend their time drinking, gambling and smoking instead of enjoying the great outdoors?
At the moment the fishing ban is speculation but if it does come to fruition, there are going to be a lot of angry people.
