Nate Burleson Headed to Detroit – Wide receiver Nate Burleson has apparently consented to play football with the Detroit Lions, according to a report from ESPN that says the parties have agreed to a five-year, $25 million deal. According to a source, $11 million of that would be guaranteed money.
The 28-year-old Burleson caught 63 passes for the Seattle Seahawks last season. If he jumps to the Motor City, he will rejoin offensive coordinator Scott Linehan, with whom he had his best season while a member of the St. Louis Rams.
