Italian Mafia Busted -The italian mafia has been dealt a big blow with arrests of key mafia figures in Sydney this morning. Along with the arrests, police seized plenty of drugs, and drug manufacturing equipment. The arrests and seizures were a result of 8 months of investigation by police.
This is a welcome development in the war against drugs. Streets of both Melbourne and Sydney are littered with drugs and drug dealers poisoning the next generation of Australians.
For far too long the drug problem in Australia has gone unchecked. For young people, drugs are easy to obtain and cheaper than buying alcohol. Now that the italian mafia has taken a hit, all the other drug dealers will think twice about their operations.
