Government Will Pay For Insulation Removal – The government has declared they will pay for the removal of dangerous insulation. This is amusing considering they paid to get it installed in the first place. Peter Garrett should be hung out to dry over the debacle. The insulation scheme ended up being nothing but a huge waste of tax payers money.
Not only did they waste tax payers money, they’ve put thousands out of jobs by ending the scheme abruptly. Many workers from insulation factories have been fired and suppliers and installers have been put out of business.
And if that wasn’t enough they have put many aussie homes at risk by causing a fire hazard.
Kevin Rudd needs to stop taking the blame for the botched insulation scheme and sack Peter Garrett. Lately he’s been avoiding the lime light trying to wait out the storm.
