Futures Rise Ahead Of Quadruple Witching – Stocks slipped Friday as markets reacted to Palm(PALM) earnings, a possible weekend vote on the health care reform bill and the expiration of four different types of contracts known as quadruple witching.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down by 30 points, or 0.3%, to 10,749. The S&P 500 lost 6 points, or 0.5%, to 1160 and the Nasdaq was off by 17 points, or 0.7%, to 2374.
The Dow closed ahead for its eighth consecutive session on Thursday, although other indices finished the day largely unchanged in a mixed close.
Overseas, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng gained 0.2% and Japan’s Nikkei rose 0.8%. The FTSE in London was adding 0.5% ,and the DAX in Frankfurt was ahead by 0.2%.
