Euro Millions – A British couple won the weekend EuroMillions Lottery that instantly made them among the luckiest people in the United Kingdom.

The pair, 41-year-old Justine Laycock and partner 43-year old Nigel Page, won $87.71 million (56 million pounds) on Friday, half of the $176.98 million (113 million pounds) record-breaking jackpot lottery. The remaining half of the prize money went to a ticket buyer in Spain, who is still unidentified.

Page operates a property maintenance business and Laycock works in a real estate company.

The couple said they plan to quit their jobs and enjoy the monetary windfall. They also plan to travel and buy properties in Gloucestershire and purchase luxury cars. Page wants to build his own indoor sky-diving center since the sport is his favorite pastime.

He saw on TV news Saturday morning the announcement of a U.K. winner in the jackpot, and then logged on to his account. Page, upon finding out he had the winning ticket, woke up Laycock and informed her of the good news.

The couple and their three children from previous relationships celebrated their winning by feasting on bacon sandwiches at a local café. Page previously won $86.14 (55 pounds) in the same lottery. He used the $86.14 prize to buy two Lucky Dips that lead to the EuroMillions jackpot.
