Congressman Massa Resigns – Congressmans Eric Massa’s last day as the democratic representative from New York is Monday but Eric Massa is not going down without a fight. Indeed Congressman Massa is getting more media attention now that he is resigning than when he was sitting as the democrtic representative from New York.
Last week Eric Massa stepped down after allegations of improper verbal conduct to a male staff member came to light. But Massa says the real reason for his resignation was the re-occurrence of his cancer. In fact, Massa says he only learned of the alleged improper conduct was a subject of an ethics investigation after he decided to resign from Congress.

Massa said the ethics investigation stems from a sexually laced conversation he had at a New Year’s Eve wedding for one of his staffers.
