Arrest Warrant For Lindsay Lohan
Arrest Warrant For Lindsay Lohan – A judge has issued a warrant for Lindsay Lohan’s arrest after the actress failed to attend a mandatory court hearing.
Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, told the court that the star was unable to attend the hearing in California because her passport was stolen while she was at a party at the Cannes Film Festival.
Judge Marsha Revel said there was no excuse for Lohan’s absence.
The Mean Girls star could have scheduled a return trip home well in advance of the hearing, or could have chosen not to travel to Cannes, she said.
“I warned her before,” Judge Revel told the court after setting bail at $100,000.
“If she doesn’t bail out she’ll be in jail.”
Mr Holley defended Lohan’s decision to attend Cannes but would not say if she had travelled to France against her advice.
