AFL – Essendon Football Club

The Essendon football club has been a part of the AFL now for many years and not without reason. The football club has seen many coaches and players come through their ranks. The club was first formed in 1871 and has been playing in the AFL since. Some of the great players include Paul Salmon, James Hird, Alan Noonan and the list goes on. Coaching greats at Essendon include Kevin Sheedy of course, John Coleman and Dick Reynolds.
The bombers have won the premiership 16 times making them one of the great clubs in the AFL. They’re not doing the best this season but can still make it in the top 8 and have a crack at the premiership.
